Description

Commemorative monument in memory of Count de Boigne, a general in the Indies (1784-1797), benefactor of Chambéry (1838). The column, adorned with four elephants and trophies, is located in the center of a square. The reverse details his life and legacy, mentioning the founding of the theater and barracks, with a legend about the arms and trophies.
