Portrait of a woman in traditional Tarentaise costume from Savoie, wearing a headdress decorated with fringes and embroidery, and a dress made of Elbeuf cloth decorated with black velvet bands and floral motifs. Reverse: descriptive text on Tarentaise folklore, publisher 'Cartes d'autrefois', postmark and cancellation 'Bourg-Saint-Maurice 21 April 1905'.
