Description

View of the rack railway in La Turbie from 1907, with a man at the handle and a landscape of hills in the background. The reverse contains a handwritten letter addressed to 'Dear Annie' and printed text explaining that the train, installed in 1885, was permanently discontinued in 1932 after a serious accident. The stamp and postmark are visible at the top right.
