Description

View of the Gare de l'Est in Paris, with its imposing building and large glass roof, at the beginning of the 20th century. Vehicles and pedestrians move in front of the entrance. The reverse indicates that the station, established on the current square, served the Paris-Strasbourg and Paris-Metz lines, and that sculptures there represented the wars of 70 and 14-18.
