Description

View of Toulon Theatre, built in 1862 on the Boulevard de Strasbourg, with a sculpted pediment by Klagmann and two statues of muses. The reverse details the Toulon artist Daumas (1801–1887), author of the Roman Cavalier in Paris and the bronze Genius of Navigation in Toulon. The postcard bears handwritten text addressed to 'Mme Alvi' and mentions a trip to Ajaccio.
