Postcard showing the gate of the City Hall in Toulon, sculpted in 1657 by Pierre Puget, with two Cariatides symbolizing Strength and Fatigue. The reverse details the history of the building and mentions that Puget, sculptor and painter, was a student of Pierre de Cortone. Postmark 'L'Aurore' with cancellation 'Toulon 20 JUILLET 1932'.
