Description

Stone bust of François Populle, mayor of Roanne from 1808 to 1815, on a pedestal adorned with a coat of arms. Engraved text: 'FRANÇOIS POPULLE 1778-1846 MAIRE DE POANNE 1808-1815'. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence from Laronnette to M. Largentié in Orléans, with a green 15-centime postage stamp and cancellation.
