View of the port of Royan with several sailing ships with sails raised and buildings in the background. In the foreground, three people observe the port from a dock. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated August 1, 1915, sent from Royan to Saint-Paterne, with a French 10 centimes postage stamp and a cancellation mark.
