Description

Aerial sepia view of the Giersberg ruin perched on a rocky promontory, overlooking a rural landscape and a village below. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated September 9, addressed to Madame Marleire in Ribeauvillé, mentioning a small vest received and a trip to Riomassière. A postmark is affixed at the top right.
