Description

View of a 16th-century church porch in La Cigogne, with a complex carved decoration and a slate roof. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 3, 1903, sent from La Cigogne (Seine-Inférieure) to Madame Herdian in Bois-Guillaume, mentioning the sender's tired arrival and the beauty of the site. The publisher is André Lecante. Postmark and stamp from Croisic (S.-I.) are visible.
