Postcard showing the ruins of La Durbellerie in Saint-Aubin-de-Baubigné, where Henri du Verger de la Rochejaquelein was born in 1772, generalissimo of the Vendean armies. The printed text recalls that he spoke in 1792 to 2000 peasants the memorable words: « If I advance, follow me; if I retreat, kill me; if I die, avenge me ». Reverse: 20 centimes postage stamp, postmark from Saint-Aubin-de-Baubigné dated May 21, 1934, handwritten address to Monsieur B. Martin in Anviens.
