View of the memorial monument in St-Dizier, depicting a woman holding a flag at the top of a pedestal adorned with soldiers. To the left, a building with a clock and a 10-cent postage stamp. To the right, a hotel-restaurant 'Hôtel du Ranci'. The back features a handwritten letter dated July 15, 1916, addressed to Henri Lemercier in Litz-sur-Ouvèze, with a postmark from St-Dizier.
