Black and white view of a crowded beach with many swimmers and a few boats, bordered by trees and buildings in the background. On the reverse, a postcard sent from Saint-Georges-de-Didonne (Charente-Maritime) in 1956, with a 12 franc stamp depicting the City Gate, handwritten text, and the publisher 'Éditions GABY'.
