View of the clock tower of the church in Saint-Maixent, with its Gothic architecture and clock. The reverse contains a handwritten correspondence dated 1 August 1919, addressed to 'Dear Aunt', mentioning holidays and piano lessons. The publisher 'M. D.' is visible at the bottom of the front.
