Description

Annual festival of the village of Saint-Tropez on May 17, commemorating the election of a captain and the resistance of the Tropéziens against the Moors in the 16th century. Printed text on the back explains the historical origin of the Bravade. French postage stamp of 25 centimes canceled in La Croix Valmer on August 17, 1967. Handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. Leclerc in Riva-Bella.
