View of the former abbey of Saintes, transformed into Taillebourg barracks, with a group of people in military uniform lined up in front of the ruins. The back features a handwritten letter dated 29/1/1974, addressed to Mrs. R. Angebault in Cherbourg, with a stamp and a Cherbourg cancellation from 21-2-1930.
