Description

Black and white view of the Gorges of the Frasse in Sallanches, in the Hautes-Alpes, with a large rock in the foreground and a stream below. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 14, 1923, written to a cousin, describing their stay in the region since August 5, with walks and stays in Flaine. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the bottom right.
