Description

Historic view of Saumur Castle, showing its south facade and entrance, with inscription indicating its construction in the 11th century by Foulques Nerra, Count of Anjou, and its restoration in the 14th century. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to a recipient in Chalonnais, with cursive handwriting and partially legible address.
