Description

Mosaic depicting Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, with Eve sitting on a throne and Adam standing beside her, surrounded by animals such as a lion, a horse, a leopard, and a crocodile. The Latin text at the top of the scene is partially legible. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 28, 1945, addressed to a 'dear Orator,' mentions the end of classes and admiration for the works of the Basilica di San Marco in Venice, as well as gratitude for the lessons. The Italian postmark is affixed at the bottom right.
