Description

View of the Salazar altarpiece, a stone-carved altarpiece at the fifth pillar on the north side of the cathedral in Sens, almost entirely destroyed in 1714. The printed text mentions that the statues of the Virgin and Saint Etienne, from the tomb erected by Archbishop Tristan de Salazar, were broken and later removed. The back is blank, without a stamp or cancellation.
