Description

View of the City Hall in Sens, a neo-Gothic building inaugurated in 1904 after the demolition of the Lorne house. The printed text on the front indicates its construction started in 1900 and its inauguration on Sunday, April 3, 1904 by Mr. Peiletan, then Minister of the Navy, accompanied by Mr. Tissier, Undersecretary of State. The scene shows horse-drawn carriages in front of the building.
