View of a ruined church with a statue of the Virgin Mary in the foreground, under a cloudy sky. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated August 29, 1957, sent from Sète (Hérault), mentioning a holiday at La Salette, and a 15-centime French Republic stamp canceled in Montpellier.
