Description

Panoramic view of the Fer à Cheval massif in the Hautes-Alpes, with snow-capped mountains and a valley below. The reverse side features a 5-centime green stamp, a cancellation from Mâcon (Rhône) dated April 9, 1917, and handwritten text addressed to Mr. Maurice in St. Maurice, with a note 'Amitiés fraternelles' from the sender.
