Description

Black and white view of the Quai du Mont-Blanc in Geneva, with the lake and city in the background, a steam launch in the foreground and a garden along the edge. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 12, 1871, addressed to Madame Gernberg in Rocroy, Champagne, with a Swiss 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Dijon.
