Description

Black and white winter view of the village of Mallnitz (1,200 m) with a church in the center, framed by snow-capped mountains including the Schönbretterspitze (2,738 m). The reverse has a handwritten inscription: 'A good thought. and best wishes.' addressed to Miss Despagnol in Avenières, France, with a violet 170-franc postage stamp and a circular cancellation from Mallnitz.
