Black and white view of Lucerne's Town Hall, with its iconic clock tower under a cloudy sky. The reverse features a handwritten message dated October 3, 1939, addressed to Mr. E. Bouquigny in Paris, accompanied by a 20-cent Swiss stamp and a Luzern cancellation. The publisher is indicated at the bottom left: Kunslverlag E. Goetz.
