View of the Romanesque façade of the church in Surgères, dated to the 13th century, with pointed arches and sculptures. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Charante Inférieure, a 10-centime green postage stamp, and a dispatch stamp from Jean d'Angle (Charente) dated April 20, 1904.
