Spring garden with white and yellow tulips in front of a colonial house and a small white building. Printed text: 'The glories of spring decorate the Taliaferro-Cole garden, lovely in any season. An early resident of the property, Thomas Crease, served as gardener for the College of William and Mary and the Governor's Palace at various times during the first half of the eighteenth-century.' Reverse: handwritten address to Mrs. M. Clairet, 8 passage J.C. Martin, 69600 Oullins, France, USA postmark 55, cancellation 'Justin S.
