Description

View of King René's castle in Tarascon, on the banks of the Rhône, with inscription indicating its construction began on 27 November 1409 during the reign of Louis II, Count of Provence. Reverse: handwritten text addressed to 'Madame Germaine' in Montdauphin (760 Alpes), with a 10-centime postmark and a dispatch stamp from Aulnay-sur-Loire dated 30 November 1928.
