Description

Black and white view of the port of Thonon-les-Bains with several boats moored and two swans swimming in the foreground, against the backdrop of a castle or historic building on a wooded hill. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated May–October 1952, addressed to Madame Solimar at the Hôtel du Germelien in Duingy, with a 12-franc French Republic postage stamp and a postmark from Évian.
