Woman wearing a traditional costume from the Thouars region, with a large white headdress and a dark embroidered dress, holding a basket and an umbrella. Printed text on the front indicates 'THOUARS (D.-S.) Costume du Pays La grande Coiffe'. Reverse: correspondence addressed to 'Mademoiselle J. Ferrucy, Levier, Douby', with a postage stamp and a Thouars station cancellation of 20 July 1916.
