View of the castle of Thouars, built in 1655 under the orders of Marie de La Tour d'Auvergne and became a prison house in 1871, with a church to the right and a watercourse below. Reverse: handwritten address to Paris, postal stamp and cancellation mark from Thouars (Deux-Sèvres) of October 31, 1925.
