Panoramic view of the town of Thouars at the time of its capture by the Chouans in 1793, showing the medieval bridge and buildings of the lower town. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Bidault in Bourges, with two green 5-centime stamps and a postmark from Sevres dated July 10, 1930.
