Description

View of the Hotel Gouin in Tours, a Gothic building adorned with sculptures and gables, dating from the 15th and 16th centuries. The printed text mentions that it was once inhabited by Jean de Xaincoings, Controller of Finances under Charles VII, and Jean d'Orléans, Count of Dunois. The reverse bears handwritten correspondence dated 1914, addressed to a recipient in La Couronne, with a mention of the publisher 'A. Mapeghin, Edit., Tours'.
