Perspective view of a narrow paved alley bordered by old buildings in Troyes. Printed text at the bottom: '69 — TROYES — THE ALLEY OF CATS. Ch. Gris, pub, Troyes. — Reproduction prohibited.' The reverse has a handwritten address to Pantin (Seine) and a 10-centime postage stamp from 1914 canceled in Troyes on April 15, 1914.
