View of the commemorative monument to the children of the Aube in Troyes, dated 1870-1871, with an inscription visible on the base. In the foreground, passersby near an iron railing. In the background, a building with the sign 'CAFÉ RESTAURANT HOTEL'. The reverse has a handwritten address to M. Hollien in Chabaud, with writing at the bottom 'Ferme Maume'.
