View of the Vailluisant Hotel in Troyes, built around 1550 on the site of an old convent, with a beautiful Renaissance room and a fireplace. The reverse has a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Rosemonde in Montauban, with two stamps (5c orange and 10c green) and a postmark 'TROYES 1883'.
