Description

View of the Colosseum in El Djem, an ancient ruined monument, with low structures and arches in the foreground. The reverse contains a handwritten letter dated February 8, 1925, addressed to 'ma très chère Bugeaut,' mentioning a small letter and a 'petite amie' named Marie Thérèse, as well as an address to Affranchir in Paris. The publisher 'LL' is visible at the bottom of the front.
