Black and white panoramic view of Val d'Isère, with the Iseran massif in the background and the Lessières pass in the foreground, under a cloudy sky. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated June 12, 1937, addressed to Monsieur Gérard Brothelé in Paris, accompanied by a 40-centime postage stamp and a hexagonal Paris postmark.
