View of Valençay Castle, east side, showing its main façade with its two characteristic domes and its long building with aligned windows. The printed text at the bottom indicates the publisher R.D. and the serial number 2. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 12, 1936, addressed to Mademoiselle J. Berroit at Bondet Station (Cantal), with two 20-centime stamps and an obliteration 'INDRE 14 5 36'.
