Black and white aerial view of the village of Ayer in the Valley of Anniviers, at an altitude of 1488 m, with a central church and scattered houses in a mountainous landscape. On the reverse, dense handwritten text, a 20-centime Swiss stamp, and a circular cancellation from Lausanne dated August 24, 1929, addressed to Madame Hingre in Paris 6th arrondissement.
