Description

View of the Fort of Charlemont overlooking the town of Givet, located on a rock at an altitude of about 120 meters. The fort, begun in 1555 by Charles V and later modified by Vauban, constitutes the main military structure of the place. Green 5-centime postage stamp affixed.
