Postcard featuring eight photographs of monuments in Verdun: the Porte Chaussée (14th century), the Monument to Victory (L. Chesney), Fort Vaux, Fort Douaumont, the Maginot Monument (Broquet), the monument erected by the 130th Division (R. Paris), the Trench of Balonnets (A. Vantre), and the Ossuary and Lighthouse of Douaumont (MM. Azéma, Hardy, Edrei). Reverse: handwritten letter dated August 28, 1924, sent from Verdun to Chérie Simone, mentioning the places and war memories. Postal stamp and postmark from Verdun.
