Interior view of the Gallery of Battles at the Palace of Versailles, showing its high ornate vaults, large wall paintings, and busts arranged on pedestals. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 16, 1908, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Boucher in Gresy-sur-Armançon, with a 10-centime postage stamp and two cancellations: one from Lédivilliers (July 16, 1908) and one from Gresy-sur-Armançon (August 16, 1908).
