Black and white view of the entire portal of the Basilica of the Madeleine in Vézelay, showing its Gothic architecture with sculptures and stained glass. On the reverse, a postcard dated September 10, 1947, sent to architect Henri Le Rittle in Paris, with two 2.50 franc stamps and a Vézelay cancellation.
