Panoramic view of the village of Vézelay perched on a hill, with its buildings and castle in the background, and gently sloping vineyards in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 23, addressed to 'My dear Annette' at the address of the Villa du Pré in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, with a green 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Couvreur (Yonne) dated April 25, 1918.
