Winter view of the village of Villard-de-Lans covered in snow with the Aérierum, a large central building, and mountains in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated February 29, 1950 mentions the snow, children, and the climate. French postage stamp of 12 centimes and postmark from Villard-de-Lans.
