Description

View of the Clock Gate in Vire, an imposing stone tower with a clock, framed by old buildings and a pedestrian street. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated Wednesday, June 16, 1926, sent from Paris to Madame Marguerite Letiu in Les Islettes, with a 30-cent blue postage stamp and a postmark from Calvados.
