Description

View of wooden barricades erected on Gambetta Street in Arras, in front of the post office, during World War I (1914–15). The front bears the inscription 'La Guerre 1914–15' and the serial number 375. The reverse shows a handwritten correspondence dated 16 August 1918, addressed to a recipient in Paris, with a stamp and a postmark from the 'Chambre Syndicale de la Poste' in Paris.
