Description

View of the Chambord Castle, with inscription indicating its construction started in 1526 by François I and completed under Henri II, restored by Louis XIV, and mentioning that it was the usual residence of François I in his final years of life. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Madame Henriette Rouy in Le Mans (Sarthe), a green 5-centime stamp, and a postmark from Sceaux dated May 5, 1934.
